Sweet bun with cream奶油甜面包

Bread/bun: 5-7 hours depending on the room temperature

  1. Mix 2.5 cups of flour with 1/2 tsp salt, 5 tbsp sugar.
  2. 3/4 cup of warm milk mixed in 2.5 tsp yeast.
  3. Add one egg into#1 and pulling #2 in. Knead for 5 minutes or until clean.
  4. Set for 15 minutes then knead in 3 tbsp room temperature or soft butter.
  5. Let the dough rise for 2 hours or at least double size. (try again and update)
  6. Cut dough to 8 pieces even, make them round shape and then set for another 15 minutes.
  7. Roll each pieces to long oval flat shape then roll it to the bread shape by sealing the end.
  8. Set all 8 on baking sheet for 2 hours. They should rise for at least double size.
  9. Preheat oven to 375 degree.
  10. Brush egg liquid to the top right before put into the oven.
  11. Back for 10 minutes and watch not to burn.
  12. Cool down completely before add cream filling.

Cream filling:

  1. Hand mixer 4 tbsp room temperature soft butter and 4 tbsp unsalted butter.
  2. Add < 6 tbsp powder sugar depending on how much salted butter.
  3. Add in 2-3 tbsp milk (warm or room temperature).
  4. Add 1 tsp vanilla extract.
